Returns & Refunds
At Paint A Little Joy, every kit is carefully hand-cast, prepared and packaged with care. We want you to love your purchase, and if something isn't right, we're always happy to help.
Change-of-Mind Returns
We do not offer an additional voluntary returns period beyond your statutory consumer rights.
For eligible online purchases, you have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us if you wish to cancel your purchase. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
We ask that returned kits are carefully packaged and include all original components.
You may inspect your purchase as you would in a shop. However, using paints, decorating plaster pieces or otherwise handling the kit beyond what's necessary to inspect it may significantly reduce its value.
Where goods have lost value through such use, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund in accordance with consumer law.
Return postage for change-of-mind returns is the customer's responsibility.
Personalised & Custom Orders
Personalised name kits and bespoke products created to your individual specifications are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or cancellations under the statutory cooling-off rules.
This includes qualifying custom-branded and individually personalised orders.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected if any product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
We take great care when packaging our plaster pieces, but occasionally damage can happen during delivery.
If something arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at paintalittlejoy@gmail.com, ideally including your order number and photographs of the issue.
We'll work with you to resolve the problem promptly, including arranging an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
There is no charge for returning faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
Refunds
For valid change-of-mind cancellations, refunds will be processed in accordance with statutory timeframes, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
We may wait until the returned goods are received, or evidence of their return is supplied, before issuing the refund.
Where an entire eligible order is cancelled, the original standard delivery charge will also be refunded, as required by law.
